| Once you have Anti-Trojan Shield installed, there's Anti-Trojan Shield folder in the Start menu. Please follow the below mentioned steps in order to start scanning your computer for Trojan horses.

| 1. Start Anti-Trojan Shield (Start->Programs->Anti-Trojan Shield 2->Anti-Trojan Shield)
|
| 2. Check the C drive under the Scan tab
|
| 3. Click on the "Start" button. The scanning process begins right afterwards
|

| Having found a Trojan horse, Anti-Trojan Shield will start flashing the "Infected" sign in order to catch your attention. The report window will be automatically enlarged with information about the infected file. It's always possible to get the detailed information by clicking on the "Info" button. In this case you'll be forwarded to our Online Trojan Encyclopedia that has complete descriptions of almost all known Trojan horses.

| Now you're ready to get rid of the infected file. You can either delete it completely, let the program to cure the file (impossible in some extreme cases), or place it into quarantine. If you aren't sure which option to choose, we always recommend deleting the file.
